Still, they exist, and Popular Communications magazine is there to serve them (while containing a healthy dose of Amateur Radio for the many hams in their audience), and they've been doing it for 30 years. Bet they've helped make a few hams in that time. In this episode, Gary talks to editor Richard Fisher KI6SN about the magazine and SWLing in general, and the resurrection of the 'Monitoring Station Identication" that originated years ago in Popular Electronics.
