Viewers ask to see some simple stations they can actually assemble. Ham Radio television programs keep showing them the monster stations they'll only ever dream about. So in this episode, Jeff and Gary, along with Dick Orander KD4ISC, put together a simple station for their Field Day GOTA operation (Get On the Air). The basics are all there, and you can emulate this station for your home operation.

We also show a unique Antenna Launching Contest that was part of the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society's Field Day activity. The contest features giant slingshots and air-powered 'potato guns' competing for distance and accuracy. It was a lot of fun!

If you enjoy this and other HAMRADIONOW.tv
video, help keep us 'on the air' with a contribution. Just look up to your right, and 'click the pig.' Our goal is 10,000 hams @ $10/year, but it's really 'whatever it's worth to you.' And we know that watching is easy, contributing is a pain. So thanks for rewarding our effort with a little of yours
